Great but inconsistent

Love the quality, looks great but I had ordered it as a replacement for one that broke and the new one is significantly smaller than my other mug (maybe 10 oz instead of 12). I suppose it's to be expected with handmade clay but the inconsistency is a little annoying.

Beautiful

I bought this as a white elephant for a Christmas gift, but kept it for myself. The mug is well-made, and looks beautiful. It also inspires me when I need a little push towards action. Very well done to all involved!! I have shown this mug, which is my new favorite, to many friends and family. It is the only mug that I display publicly in my apartment, and fits well with my LOTR stuff. Beautiful, great for taking to work, and I highly recommend. Thank you for making such an amazing mug!

Christmas Mugs

Got 3 different Hero’s Journey mugs for my brothers and dad for Christmas. They absolutely loved them. The team was also incredibly responsive.

Excellent Customer Service

I was about to order a mug and tea for Christmas when I realized that I didn't know how to request the green glaze for the mug on the combo page, and also that the green glaze mugs were marked as out of stock. I figured I'd wait for a while and try again after Christmas, but I got an email that day from Donovan Pottery asking if I needed help with anything, since I hadn't completed my purchase. I explained the situation, and within an hour received a reply explaining that they had a new batch of mugs about to be made and could reserve several for a green glaze and also how to request the green glaze for the mug. I made the order immediately!

I received the mug promptly and am very pleased with its quality. It will be a gorgeous and encouraging item to drink my tea with for years to come. "Forth, and fear no darkness!"
